The Marketing Internship Program offers a select number of undergraduate and graduate students from area universities and business schools including University of Houston, Rice University, University of Texas, Texas A&M University, etc., as well as those with a degree, a unique opportunity to fulfill their potential in a fast track, international environment.
 
Interns always bring with them energy, drive and the latest industry knowledge. Because of their sophisticated skill sets and professional abilities which they acquired in school, their contribution is immediate.
 
The students involved in the marketing program are assigned to a specific project and have a mentor to assure that each intern has proper guidance. Each of them goes through a short training period during which he/she learns about the company, various current projects, necessary software, and gains more familiarity with the people at Performance Systems.
 
People involved in the marketing internship program have had opportunities to be engaged in many valuable activities such as designing marketing and advertising material, logos, brochures, and exhibition and conference programs. They have also been involved in conducting research, designing and maintaining databases, planning trade shows and more. The intern works as a member of a project team to research and implement assignments on behalf of clients in the following areas: marketing, business development, strategic alliances, selling innovative technologies into Fortune 1000 companies, finding distributors, customer relations, administrative and logistics support.
 
We consider the marketing internship program a great success because it is beneficial for both sides: our interns gain valuable skills that they can transfer into their future marketing careers, and Performance Systems has immensely benefited from the students' skills, their work, energy, and fresh insight. After this internship, some exceptional individuals have joined our team on a full-time basis.
 
We are always flexible with the interns’ working hours and always take into account students’ schedules. This internship can also be done for college credits.
